Three steps. No software to learn.
CAIRO is a service with a sheet at the end — not another tool your estimator has to master. Here is the whole journey, honestly told.
Send the tender
Upload the architectural PDF package — or forward the tender email exactly as the GC sent it. Native CAD-issued PDFs work best: CAIRO reads their vector geometry directly, line by line.
Confirm your scope
Type your trade in plain words — "mirrors", "wire shelving", "sliding doors". CAIRO matches against its component catalog and shows you the list. You confirm it. Nothing enters your takeoff unconfirmed.
Receive the sheet
A live spreadsheet, per trade: counts, sizes, locations — organized by building, floor, unit and room. Totals are formulas, not pasted numbers. Every cell carries its source. Gaps arrive as gold awaiting input cells — never as invented dimensions.
The machine reads lines, not pixels.
Your CAD-issued PDF is vector geometry — thousands of precise lines per sheet. CAIRO reads them directly: schedules become rows, plans become locations, and every extracted fact keeps a pointer back to where it was read. That pointer IS the audit trail.
